Summary:
Develops and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity as a part-time position.
Coordinates employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, employee training programs and employee recognition programs.
Coordinates credentialing and privileging activities to ensure the qualifications of staff members for clinical positions.
DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
Responsible for creating the job description and posting on job boards.
Networks with job search agencies, workforce development and training programs to identify qualified candidates.
Responsible for full cycle recruiting beginning with posting vacancies to making offers.
Onboarding/Offboarding:
Responsible for onboarding all new employees including completion of new-hire paperwork, enrollment in compliance training, and enrollment into ADP HRIS/Payroll system.
Ensures verification of credentials and successful completion of background checks.
Responsible for new hire, termination, and change of status forms with payroll.
Effectively maintains Employee Personnel files, adhering to all regulations requiring filing and retention.
Payroll:
Works with the finance department and supervisors to ensure the timely submission of the bi-weekly payroll.
Serve as employee liaison to assist in problem resolution with issues related to benefit deductions and pay.
Coordinates with the CFO to assure accurate dollars and documentation for the payroll in the accounting system.
Employee Relations:
Functions as the ADP Administrator and is the organization's liaison with ADP.
Develops and administers company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
Promotes positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs; responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Coordinates training programs, personal and career development, performance appraisal process, compensation systems, and diversity and benefit programs.
Supports the performance review process; provide employees and managers with information about the process, policies, job duties, and process for promotion.
Oversees all requests for Leaves of Absence.
Leads employee recognition programs.
Reviews employee relations issues and recommends appropriate responses to management.
Assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
Assists supervisors with progressive improvement plans.
Functions as a productive member of the leadership team and advisor to the COO and CEO.
Provides leadership for the Personnel Work Group, which meets bi-weekly.
Reporting:
Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on a variety of human resources issues.
Credentialing and Privileging Coordinator:
Responsible for initial credentialing of all clinical staff (both employees and contractors) including Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP), Other Licensed or Certified Practitioners (OLCP), and Other Clinical Staff (OCS) in accordance with HRSA and SRNHC policy.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with the biannual renewal of privileges for clinical staff.
Responsible for maintaining the CAQH profiles for all practitioners.
Responsible for the collecting the initial paperwork for insurance credentialing for Medicare and Medical Assistance for practitioners and coordinating with the CFO and Administrative Assistant for further insurance credentialing with HMOs, MCOs and commercial carriers.
Responsible for maintaining the documentation of this activity in paper files, online files as well as in Compliatric.
Training and Staff Development:
Coordinates health center training programs and ongoing staff development needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
