Job Description Title - Associate Insurance Professional Objectives As an integral member of our agency team, the Associate Insurance Professional will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' needs are met through excellent service and efficient daily processes.
The primary focus of this role is to maintain customer relationships by servicing, reviewing, and selling client accounts.
Responsibilities Customer Service Answer incoming customer calls and handle inquiries promptly and professionally Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns effectively Provide guidance and assistance to policyholders regarding changes and endorsements to their policies Advise policyholders through the claims process and maintain communication with adjusters Offer proof of insurance documentation for personal and commercial policies Policy Management Process and advise policyholders on changes and endorsements to their policies Quote and process new business applications Update customer management system and accurately document conversations Send applications and forms for new policies and policy endorsements Follow up with policyholders to ensure compliance with policy requirements Assist with policy payments and resolve billing issues in carrier systems Sales and Marketing Support agency promotion, marketing, and sales initiatives Assist with marketing campaigns and social media outreach Contribute to expanding the agency's client base Administrative Support Perform general administrative tasks as assigned by management Qualifications Education and Experience College degree or equivalent experience PA Property & Casualty Insurance License (Training will be provided and paid for if not already licensed) Prior customer service/administrative experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities Pleasant and friendly attitude with the ability to build rapport with clients Proficiency with desktop computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Familiarity with social media and marketing is preferred, but not required Willingness to learn and grow within the position Additional Information This is a full-time position with paid vacation and sick days IRA with matching is provided, and other benefits are negotiable Salary plus commission will be negotiated based on experience This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
